Video Encoder/Converter Program for XP?

Does anyone know of a good “freeware” (Video Encoder/Converter) program, that allows you to copy “any url” and convert it to Windows Media Player? Presently I’m using TubeTilla which is freeware, but it only allows you to convert YouTube Urls.

Any help would be appreciated.
