Mark Knophler_Kill to get Crimson

Post by downhill »

I finally got around to picking this one up. After one listen, it's a keeper.

It's more folk oriented than rock and the sq is top notch.

If you're a Knophler fan, grab this title.

*Almost* every album by Dire Straits. Not much of his solo stuff short of a few live shows.

If you can find it, get the Knophler with Emy Lou Harris.

Besides being one of the best albums of 2007, its sq is killer.

This album reminds me in some aspects of "Brothers In Arms," which is one of my very favorite albums of all time. I've had probably two cassette copies and two or three cd copies of it at one time or another over the last 20 years. But this album (yes, I said album ;) ) also reminds me a little of the work that Mark Knopfler did on the Princess Bride soundtrack...

Yeah it's kinda laid back but that's not uncommon for Knopfler.

This is a great album!

The sound quality is spectacular!

My pc is only good for folding, but the X-Fi soundcard leads the codes to user control?
