Digital Camcorder and IEEE 1394 Cards (video editing question)

Post by Watkins »

I have a Sony digital camcorder TRV520 and am downloading video to my PC via the 1394 data-link cable. This works great and I am using the Movie maker that comes with Windows millennium and making some pretty nice videos. I also use Ulead video studio that came with the 1394 PCI card.

My question is this - -has anyone here had any luck uploading the edited video back to the camera so you can then put it on a normal VHS tape. Seems kind of pointless to have all the fun editing the videos if you can't show them to anyone. Any help would be really appreciated.

Also if you know any better forums to address this question then I am open. I posted it on this site because there seems to be so many knowledgeable people here.
