Sacramento Kings Dancers Photo Scandal

Sacramento Kings cheerleaders (known as dancers in the NBA) have been caught up in a marketing scandal whereby they posed for scandalous photos.

In the photos they are wearing the Sacramento Kings jerseys. This is against team and league violation.

Gambling911.com in the past was embroiled in a similar scandal when one of its reporters, Lisa Perry, posed nude in Playboy and was ordered to stop promoting herself as an "Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader". She was a former Captain with that team.

These so-called "role models" are sometimes paid $40 a game, it was revealed by gambling911.com.

In at least one of the photos, there is a simulated lesbian kiss generated by two of the dancers.

Another photo shows the girls engaging in uninhibited drinking of hard alcoholic beverages, including directly from the bottle.

"The photos of Sacramento Kings Dance Team members circulating on the Internet were published without the knowledge or permission of the Dance Team members or the Sacramento Kings, and they do not adhere to the principles and values of the Sacramento Kings organization," the Kings said in a statement to The Bee.

The Sacramento Kings are owned by the Maloof family, which also owns the Las Vegas Palms Hotel and Casino.
