Yes sir. I am a fan and I do enjoy watching the Lions, always have, but I'm not sure I could say that I 'like' them yet. They need to work on the offensive line a bit and cut down the interceptions and the stupid penalties first and I'll warm up to them a bit. It's pretty disheartening to see them start the season 6-2 and think maybe we'll have a good season for once, only to watch them lose the next six weeks and finish way out of playoff contention.

Oh well, at least the Pistons and Red Wings are kicking ass, and the Tigers are looking great with Cabrera and Willis added to the roster. I still cant believe they missed the postseason last year too.

It is good to see the Tigers doing well still. Not a very big basketball fan, but I like the pistons to do well. Lions, I'm a cowboys fan first, lions second. works out well most of the time lol.

Red Wing fan first and foremost! I don't get to see many games any more till the playoffs but still get them when I can.

Nice to see another detroit sports fan around...of course there is the question of maze and blue or green and white?

For me, its the good old maize and blue all the way. I started playing hockey when I was 5 and played until I was 16, so I'm a big hockey fan as well. That's when I became a big UofM fan. I loved watching their hockey team whenever I could. They always seemed to have a great team, and they still do. I think they are #1 in the country. I'm also a big Michigan football fan, and last season was a little difficult to watch at times. I'm glad they pulled out the win against the Gators in the bowl game though. It will be interesting to see how they perform without Henne and Hart next year.

State kicks Michigan's ass in basketball though. Neitzel (sp?) is insane on the court. My buddies who are State fans routinely rub that in my face.

Yeah, I believe he is from Wyoming which is right by Grand Rapids. Although I am not a State fan, you cant deny talent and that guy will be successful in the league after he graduates.

Are you originally from MI Noevo? I cant imagine too many people from outside of Michigan know that we are called Michiganders

Livonia is just a few minutes from me. I live in Farmington Hills. I was thinking about going to Western for a while but decided against it. I did spend numerous weekends out there partying with friends though. Its a cool little college town. Lots of good pizza joints and breweries out there.
