finally ordered direct tv. 200 channels, over 60 in HD and for $2 less a month than I'm paying for basic analog cable.
WOOT!
Dish Network vs DirectTV vs Cable(comcast)
Here at the office, on Feb 24th, I will be switching to fiber optics, 20 MB up & down for $99.99/month dynanmic, $139.99 static; 50 MB down/20 MB up for $199.99 dynamic, $239.99 static, basically 0 latency as it will be fiber to my LAN... 2 year contract, this is for a business, not residential, which is much cheaper.
I really don't need a static IP anymore so I may go with dynamic 50/20, however, if I decide static, then I will probably get the 20/20...
Either way, fiber is the way to go, IMHO...

Checked it again today as an update to this thread.
Dish Network now has the most HD programming than any other Sat or cable provider.
I've also got my local channels now in HD since they pushed it out a few months ago... just had to switch from the eastern ark 61.5 sat to the 129... had to trim half the side of a large maple tree to do it since its at a lower elevation than the rest but much happy now! CBS,NBC,ABC and Fox all in HD!
