I ordered some of that stuff the other day... I hope it works like it said cause I have places I just can't get grass to grow and for the cost if it works its well worth the money.

I looked but it doesn't mention what kind of seed is used. Really, that's important when you consider where you live.

Really it should have been a civil suit if it was a home owners association involved. If it was a city ordnance, then yes it seems silly.

I'd have to know more of the story. It just seems to far fetched. There's something that the article must not be mentioning or the guy is plain lazy on two accounts. One for not getting grass to grow. It's not that hard. Two...for not getting a lawyer.

My first post was in response to the patch perfect link. I'd not buy any seed if I didn't know what it was.

according to the article there was no association involved ...the contractor he had to build the house skipped out on sodding the lawn .....so he seeded and it didn't grow ......the article said it was an ordinance.

That is in my fiancee's hometown. Actually about 2 doors down from where her dad lives now. I always thought they were a little weird there. I will have my fiancée call her dad and get the full scoop.

You see, this is what I don't get. If the contractor was supposed to sod it, then why didn't he go after him?

Not that in the end, I really care one way or another. Like I said, grass is easy to grow. Depending on if you actually do a little prep work to begin with.

The guy seems to be a bit lax in that he was willing to spend some time in the sack on his weekends, other than trying grow a lawn. He should have just planted zoyosia plugs and pissed everyone off.

maybe ....seems to me the judge was a bit over zealous with his authority.

well for 19$+7 shipping I couldn't resist trying it.. its no more costly than a big bag of grass seed that wouldn't work time and time again.

Half of my old neighborhood in north-central TX could've been jailed under that ordinance.

Kinda hard to grow anything on sunbaked clay without running up a couple thousand just in water bills.
