Indy 4 tidbits... (SPOILERS)

Post by Brk »

Didn't see them posted. I will have to dig up the link where I got it, because I just closed the window by accicent.

- The current working title of the movie is, "Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods."

- Takes place in the 1950s.

- Cate Blanchett is playing the villian.

- Shia LeBouf (Disturbia, Transformers) is playing a greaser who turns out to be Indy's son.

- The story revolves around crystal skulls and was inspired by the book "Chariots of the Gods?".

- The opening sequence pits Indy against Russians...at Area 51.

As for the book it's inspired by, I wonder how they'll reconcile the that with the God/Bible-centric themes of Raiders and Last Crusade.

Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve been eyeing the DVD box set, maybe I’ll wait a little longer for the super duper box set release.
