'North American union plan headed to Congress in fall'

Post by Brk »

Source
WASHINGTON – A powerful think tank chaired by former Sen. Sam Nunn and guided by trustees including Richard Armitage, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Harold Brown, William Cohen and Henry Kissinger, is in the final stages of preparing a report to the White House and U.S. Congress on the benefits of integrating the U.S., Mexico and Canada into one political, economic and security bloc.
Armitage, Brzezinski, Kissinger? If this doesn't ring eight miles of klaxons in your brain, I guess you'll be singing "Proud to Be a North American" with Lee Greenwood.

Oh, and remember, THERE IS NO SUCH THING as a "North American Union." It's all conspiracy theory, or misunderstood by real dummies, or a silly internet urban legend. Right?

It's a matter of time. Just flip through the pages of your latest edition Business and Finance text book and read how the authors are practically salivating at the perceived "benefits".

I wouldn't mind a Canada/US union, we're so similar anyway, but Mexico adds a whole new set of problems.

What are these "problems" you speak of? Language? Color of skin? Work ethic? I'm curious? :)

Of course you could. NJ is a part of the States but that doesn't stop people from making fun of them. :p

I dont think he ment color language or ethic.
I think it's more about economy, honestly I never been in mexico but from what I heard (people who went there on vacations) it sounds and seems like 3rd world country.

Union?
Yeah right.
It would be a U.S. dominated stab in Canadians backs.

P.S.The french want to leave Canada anyway, so lets just bomb them into submission. Why change tactics now.

True to a point. The fact is the U.S. takes what they want from Canada right now without having the responsibility of "caring" about the people.
