WTB: Socket s478 mobo

Post by goobee »

I'm having a spot of bad luck these days. 3 of my out of warranty mobos recently died from leaky/bulging caps. (I have a rant about Epox support but that's for another time)

Looking for a cheap s478 mobo with the following features:

AGP
DDR
800mhz
Good caps

Overclocking is not important, just price.

LMK if interested, thanks.

I have an Abit IC7-G mobo that you might like, however im damn positive the chipset fan isnt functional, aside from that the board works great, it was my last board.

Thanks but that might be a bit more than I want to spend for a cruncher machine. How much are you looking for it?

To give you any ideal of what I have in mind, I'm looking for a budget board, something in the price range of an ECS, Biostar, PcChips, etc.

Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass. As indicated above, I'm looking for extremely cheap only.

I guess I'll hit up mwave.com for their $39 cheapie board. :thumb:
