I think the blog is a little over dramatic about putting those "violences" in the same category.
Hes just listing different types of violence.
Hes annoying to listen too. I dont like his tone with the verbal abuse and gun control talk about the automatic weapons ban.
He talks so slow, it could have been a 4 min clip if he didnt speak so slow and pause all the time.

You can spin with the best of them. You could probably spin this post into an anti-semitic, liberal, tree hugging, racist rant.
I didn't listen to the recording, I don't want to listen to any more bullshit US politics than I have to, but even just reading the blog post, it's quite clear he's not comparing anything. He's listing. You and your claims of comparison... sigh
That blog and those comments are scary.....there a lot of stupid people in this country.Ghosthunter wrote:http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/ ... lence.html

I think you are the only one in this thread who actually listen to his speechYARDofSTUF wrote:I think the blog is a little over dramatic about putting those "violences" in the same category.

Yeah he talks so slow I dont get that
I also think it was wrong for him to use this mass murder tragedy his main focal point in his speech only a few hours after it happened.
Verbal Violence is his new keyword in regards to imus, sorry but i never heard of anything called verbal violence, and think it should not be in the same subject as this tragedy at VT

He's irrelevant. Completely unelectible in the United States. As "progressive" as the liberal/left/democrats like to think they are, there is still to many in their ranks that will never vote for a black man(or a woman, white or black).
People will look into an event with their own perspective, taking out of it what they wish.Ghosthunter wrote:

I don't think he talks slow, it is just a different style of speach than what you may be use to. But I get the feeling that his views on violence could be associated with typical human prejudice. I know using that word is gonna get me in trouble. Plz don't get upset but it is normal for a group of people any group to have some degree of prejudice towards others. I belive that may have been the underlying reason to some of what he said. I'll leave it at that.

LMAO! Yeah, that's friggin annoying! It's like he's trying to extend his speeches, like in HS, when we'd double the character size on our papers, cuz we didn't have enough substanceYARDofSTUF wrote:Not slow like a retard but he pauses all the time for no reason.
