People downloading it are part of the reason your starting to pay $60 for a game instead of $50.

Don't listen to them. Unless your integrity is only worth $50 to $60.

Yah it's part of the software piracy right?

Yes after this conversation (i do have only 1 computer I gave 2 of my keys to friends) and I want to use just 1 key I downloaded the generator and activated Norton antivirus for 3 years.
Last time I bought software, in my case it was norton application.
And people are yapping how the prices are going up because of the pirates ..thats a BS, wake up, everything is going up, gas prices are not same as they were 4 years ago are they ? Groceries ...? Rings a bell?
Same is for games, you pay high price and ending up with bugs, driver issues and the list goes on.Goes for consoles and PC games ...

Good point rivas, but in this case im just your typical loser pirate. Can’t afford to buy games often for 20 hours of play time with little to no replay value. Can’t afford any software that is needed for everyday use. So I go the warez route. Sue me, seriously.

It’s cool for people to write 100 bills of sales for a car to get around registering it till they get the money. But if you download warez your a bad person and should be stoned in public. Bite me!

spell checked with my downloaded copy of office 2007 enterprise edition in my cd case with my pirated version of adobe CS 2.0, office 2k3 pro, office 2k7 enterprise, windows MCE, hex workshop, rsd lite, Nero 7, unlead gif animator, and many many Xbox 360 games, plus the 300 gigs of Xbox 1 games on my Xbox 1's upgraded HDD with a hacked bios and another 200 gigs of downloaded movies and 74 gigs of mp3's.

So yea, my integrity is actually worth 5 bucks because that’s how much flash backup 3 would cost :thumb:

@panicattack

I would check game stop’s or Eb's online store for used games if you don’t have a local one. Used is the way to go, cheaper and they usually have a nice warranty better than factory

I couldnt agree with you more ..
I was shocked with their reponse. :rtfm:
Buy a new one ...WHY? I already bought it and I have 8 months left on it .. lol
SO I went the other way, Free, Can reactivate it as many times as I want.

8. After attempting to do online activation two times, it will fail.

9. Select Phone Activation and press press the Next button.

10. Now copy the 36 digit Request Code into the Request Code field in
the keygen, no dashes or spaces just one long 36 digit string.
Select how many years you want to license the software for, and
press the Generate button to get your Unlock Code.

Screw you Symantec.

And our integrity? pfft ...they made us ...

I have here MS VISTA Ultimate, Jamie bought it for me from newegg if MS will do same thing there is no way I will buy software ever.
People are complaining yay  the game is 5 bucks more expansive and cashier will say Umm ya it's because of the piracy lol ..yah with 12 mils sold copies it's because of piracy ...gimme a break.

i think downloading software you paid for (and got screwed by) is a little different than buying a game that doesn't require activation though :)

i agree tho, activation schemes screw consumers over

it's not about software developers in most cases, it's about the companies selling their product.

You used something completely off topic to counteract my point of NOT PIRATING THINGS YOU DONT OWN.

If you own it go for it. I usually purchase a cd from Itunes for $10 then go try to find a higher quality version of it on isohunt.

It's about me when my company goes under, partially due to software piracy. Again, Symansuck is a bad example here -- everyone hates them anyway. :D
