I play a few DOS based games so I have to have Win98se for that, my inquirery is this, What are the advantages of setting up a Dual Boot. BTW, The second OS will be Windows2000 Pro.
I have read that Windows2000 has a better TCP/IP stach , therefore increasing download speeds and having a more constant flow/ Minimal lost packets
TIA
Running a Dual Boot.

I would keep 98 where it is and strictly for those types of games. There is really no need to use it at all but those DOS or older games.
Since you already have 98 in there, 2k will be a snap to put in and remove if you don't want it any longer. What you want it for makes a lot of sense. There aren't any downsides to this, except for having to use the bootloader every startup.
You'll be definately benifiting in the long run by keeping your old games and DOS stuff within your little 98 domain. Load 2k with the NTFS file system. Forget combining the two together as FAT32. Unless you have so so so much stuff that you 'need' to share or even migrate to your NTFS partition.
The 2k TCP/IP stack is great! no really major tweaks needed. Still play with them and find out what you need to tweak.. As you already know, this site rocks for that!!
Happy Dual Booting...

Thanks for the replies guys.
I installed Windows2000 with a FAT32 partition. I do alot of graphics and imaging thus plan to swap from OS to OS. I have heard rumors about the NTFS Partition initiating some constant errors when Dual Booting with opposite partitions. I frequent ctrl-alt-del forums and some of the fine people there suggested the FAT32.
I must say, windows2000 is increadibly stable, extremely fast and very responsive. Makes Windows 98 seem... well, outdated
I am loving it so far.
By any chance do you guys have some performance tips for windows2000? I need to set-up a RAMDrive for it ( if that's possible) so surfing the net would be a glorious event.
Thanks for the help Goose, Jeremyboycool.
