terrible day

dentist appt, so i take a half day off at work..stuck in traffic (go atlanta traffic) for an hour, am 15 mins late to the appt -- total 2.5 hour drive -- awesome. get to the appt, go to the post office up there and come back -- another 45 mins in traffic + 1 hour drive. i get to work, the company goes belly up and everyone's laid off. i'm officially unemployed. i sent emails out to my friends/contacts/old boss and have an offer (thank God) already. i would be REALLY happy to work w/ these guys but it's a huge pay cut on the base salary...supposedly the bonuses will make up w/ it (performance based monthly bonus)...but we'll see. i have a lot to think about.

Sucks, but a low paying job is better than none, can always keep looking too.
