CD-Burner

Post by ARS »

What would be a nice CD-Burner ? I don't know much about them, but I am looking for an internal one.

I want to know how fast everything is and what are some reasonable price for the speed etc... Thanks =]

If you can afford it go for a Plextor, an IDE one, no the SCSI

I bought myself an HP 9100 series. It is not that fast but it is fast enough for me.

I bought it mainly because it is cheaper than the other brands!

Go with a Plextor if you need to back up copy write protected software. You can use a program called Clone CD for this.
Also a good burner is from TDK (a rebadged Plextor).
