I am trying to log into the analyser page this morning and all I'm getting as a return is >!, that's it. Port 8080 is ok on other pages so I'm not sure what is going on here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK I've worked it out.
The problem was effectively that from work I am on a Proxy and by default 'allow Http 1.1 through proxy' is not enabled. Check that box, reload IE and clear the browser cache. (If you are at home you ought to ensure that 'allow HTTP 1.1' is enabled as well).
Also, Zone Alarm Privacy settings are a little too keen, if you turn those off or just add the URL of the analyser to the trusted list, then the page loads fine.
Hope this helps some others.

Thanks for the update. You're right, it's usually proxy or firewall settings that prevent the connection.

Hmm... this has come back again. Any ideas as I'm not behind a Proxy any more and the page will not load (at all). I have a secure client on this machine which has its own firewall so I'm not sure this may be blocking it.Philip wrote:Thanks for the update.
