Screenshots look good!

I like the original, 2k3 didnt really do anything for me, so I hope this one brings back some of the feel of the original.

The UT3 engine looks to be getting a lot of use in other games too.

The original was one of the best games ever .........its sequels sucked ass.....we'll see.

I agree UT99 was the shiz... never really got into ut03 04.

People are still playing UT99 to this day, even Q2 great games. Hopefully it does bring back some of the original feel UT99 had.

I agree that the name is slightly silly to many of us (most of us here do know that it's the 4th title in the series), but it's Epic's way of reminding everyone that Unreal Engine 3 is the new hotness, at least in terms of licensing.

You could go far as to say UT GOTY would be like a half version considering it was a bit of an upgrade from the 'original'

I just thought I would add that the Flak Cannon from the original is the best FPS weapon ever made. :rockin:

The sniper rifle was mint Multi kill.....Ultra kill.................MmMMMmmmMmmMonster kill or something like that Face was the best map

I can't even remember the maps names ...I know I d/l'd a bunch of extra maps and crap that were pretty cool. Give me a redeemer and that Iraq thing is oooover.

played GOTY and the rest since... i will have to agree i still like the GOTY edition... and i just fired up the Q2 and have been playing abit... i cant seem to get the config to work in single player... and i hate binding keys...

:nod: :nod: :nod: anyone rember that xxx map i hosted! alot of us sgers played it. I still play it about 3-4 times a month.

Not many "good" servers left.

2007 will suck ass like the prevoius can tell already by watching the videos

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).
