I'm so hooked up, so far i suck but i killed quite a few players

I must say, PS3 looks alot better than the xBox360. Its graphics impressed me more

some one had posted in 3dgamers, a link witch I cant find right now about some gamedev, the ones that did Gears of war, and an untititled ps3 game sayin they are Equaly powerful.

Both systems are same, it all depends on developers what games we are gonna get.Of course they are not gonna present capture the flag in dark enviroment during presentation.What graphics impressed you more when there are almost none games for it yet ?

It's 2 camps, PS3 fans and XBOX 360 fans ... but both systems are same except for Blue ray you are gonna pay a lot more money comparing it to xbox 360 HD DVD's.
I have no doubt it will have success in Japan but in north america and europe 360 is dominating.

no, there Target audiance is everyone, nintendo has picked the rights to Silent hill

That is not 420p.
It have to be some kind of intro, not gameplay.

The game, like virtually every single XBOX 360 game, runs at 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, and with the newest update, can be upscaled to 1080p as well.

I don't know where this "420p" stuff even came from!

PS... its a choice of the game devs to use it or not, I dont think any launch games will support it

Aah, referring to the Wii, I missed that when scanning the thread.

But it's 480p. Most games will end up supporting it (and widescreen), even from the launch titles.

And where did that Silent Hill "news" even come from?

Yes, Nintendo may get a Silent Hill game, but by no means is the series exclusive to them...

Many of the cross-platform games that end up on Wii will likely be different from the PS360 versions. As it stands, many of them share more in common with the current-gen editions than the next-gen ones when it comes to graphics.

The graphic capabilities of the Wii may be more in common with the current-gen systems, but the control obviously puts it in a different category, so even though COD3 is being ported to Wii, the controls and gameplay need to be reworked to fit the console.

The Wii will always have its own games, and while it may share some titles from the PS360 library, many will need to be produced from scratch for the system.

It all depends on the developers and publishers doing their jobs properly or taking the easy way out.

For example:

Splinter Cell: Double Agent was created by Ubisoft Shanghai for the XBOX 360 while Ubisoft Montreal created the current gen versions. The games, while similar, were done separately (and it shows). On the other hand, a game like Gun was basically ported from XBOX to 360, and that shows as well.

Thankfully, now that we're a year into this "next gen" console business, less and less developers are simply porting their games over or giving them a quick visual upgrade. Games like Gears of War, Lost Planet, and Resistance are good examples of what AAA titles look like when developers actually created for these new systems.

Pixel-pushing power still doesn't equal "good graphics" though. Okami may be running on a game console from 2000, but it looks "better" than most of the PS3 or 360 games I've seen yet.

12 players, it was crazy ....lmao, no lag i was supriced ...its so fast game, sometimes i didnt even knew who killed me.Big fights on parking lot, snipers everywhere ...holy **** lol

NO kidding, everything ive seen on the PS3's power advnatage over the 360 has had NOTHING to back it up. Personally i would hope that the PS3 is more powerful, its over a year newer. However i am pretty sure 360 is gonna win this round because of how AMAZING live is now. Its awesome to download demos and old games and such!

Man you should try FEAR .....one 4ss killed me right after respawn like 12 times when i walked out lol. I dont know how i made it to the next building but i knew i have to smoke him out.Oh yeah he had there 3 buds protecting him but they wasnt expecting me because they were in windows so i shot them from behind lol
And next door was the bloody sniper, i smoked him out with grenade

Deathmatch rocks and capture the flag is ok.
