I filled up. I'm so happy.
Anyone think we'll see sub-$2/gallon again?

In 2008, $3 may be the new "low."

Certainly not over here.
Caltex here has changed the pricing roll on their signs at all sites to show a top price of $1.99 per litre.
We are paying the World Parity price for fuel and a bucketload of Fed Tax on top.

I think if the Fed leaves the interest rate alone and nothing else happens in the world, no hurricans hit the US Gulf area the rest of the year we might see it dip to 2$even in a few places... but thats a BIG IF.

Either way... not planning on it.
It was nice to see it drop a little for awhile. A little relief to some I know that are scraping by with gas money to work.

Yup, I converted to $ as I know most of you guys are American.
Today petrol was: $1.73 (£0.91) a
litre
And you guys get 3.7 litres for $2.39
Damn, that's like £0.30 (UK) a litre for you guys. Thats bloody cheap.

Ummm.........not as long as it's tied to supply and demand and none of the oil companies build new refineries.

That supply wouldn't last more than 5 years anyways, so the cost to get that oil isn't worth it.............unless oil goes up to $100 a barrel, then they may go for it LOL, till then, that oil is staying right where it is.

I got lucky last week and found a faulty pump. Was given out gas without having to put your credit card in the slot
Going back tomorrow to see if the pump's still faulty and fill up the gas guzzler. Hopefully, no do-gooder sissy pants has reported it defective yet

Yes...because it's still 1948, and there aren't fourteen cameras installed at your average gas station...

Yeah, sure they'll get suspicious when they see a huge line form for 1 pump and the other 9 pumps are left free

I found one of those faulty pumps in Atlanta. I put my card in and the screen was going all funky, but it let me select the grade and fill up my car.
