I don't see a thread about this. I'd like to see it, but have not.

Said the same thing origionally. Mom really wanted to see it though.

I wouldn't recommend it. Instead of making a movie about all the events. It focuses on a few cops. It was 'well done', but I walked out feeling like I wasted my time.

Basically a play off an event to make hollywood a few extra bucks. "But we are doing it to portray American Heroism" they say, which is bs, they are profiting off of others suffering.

Yeah, maybe if every single cent of profit went towards the victims and their familes then I'd might check it out. Or if it was fictional, not following a true story, ect...then Im sure it would be enjoyable. But, it's not. :(

Oliver Stone's movies really never impressed me that much. Overhyped/Overrated

I went to see Talladega nights instead..

I believe the timing of WTC is what hurt it... they should have held off a few weekends of the release after this latest plane issue going on which I'm sure pushed people for a "lighter" movie. I'm sure if I would have seen it it might have been good to me even with a small story line.. its very hard to focus on everything that happened as it wasn't just in NewYork,Penn or DC but many places throughout the world..
