C2's For Sale Thread (CarPC, RaQ, RAM)

Post by cchooper »

My dorm room is getting crowded with all of my stuff and I'm getting ready to possibly move so I decided to clean house

README
Shipping costs will be calculated from UPS' Shipping Calculator. I do have a heatware account but I just signed up for it today so it's empty. Also, all hardware has been tested at one point and had worked as it should have (unless noted otherwise) but is being sold AS IS.

CarPC Hardware
All of my CarPC hardware is brand new, tested once, and put back in its original packaging. I was going to put it in my car but I decided against it when I decided to try to separate from my current duties and move as I still needed to buy a touchscreen monitor for it. For the curious, in-dash (7") touch screens run from anywhere between $300 and $600.

VIA EPIA-M Motherboard with VIA C3 E-Series 1.0GHz Processor, Nehemiah core - Asking $90.00 + Shipping
Throwing in the EPIA USB adapter and some DDR266 RAM.

A note on the RAM!
OK, I need to explain this now because I don't want any issues with whoever might buy this. I had this system running both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux during my tests, flawlessly. When I bought the RAM (on eBay) I paid for a 1GB module of DDR266. It has an original factory label (from Advance Modules) on it that claims 1GB. It also claims it's a 400MHz module. It worked in the motherboard, however it showed up as a 512MB module, so the bottom line: I have no idea what's up with it and don't feel like pursuing a complaint with the original seller, which is why it is being provided free of charge and is not being built into the price of the motherboard.

Features:
- VIA C3 E-Series 1.0GHz Processor, Nehemiah core
- 1 DDR266 DIMM socket
- VIA Unichrome AGP graphics with MPEG-2 Accelerator

1GB DDR266 ECC Registered RAM - $50.00 + Shipping
Tested MONTHS ago when I was building my Xeon server. RAM was too tall to fit in a 1U case so I had to replace it. Passed hours of memtest back then, couldn't tell you now.

I've added the CarPC hardware (minus RAM) to eBay. If they don't sell there then I will update prices here accordingly.
