50 Piece Rotary Dremel Set.......

Post by Prey521 »

Just picked this up from Lowes, only $39. Had been wanting one for a while, but back when I was looking, they were closer to $100. Not a bad deal....

I picked up the digital version of that kit for about 60$ (on sale) about 2 years ago now.. Great tool.. a must have for anyone doing any computer case work. I let my GF Step-dad borrow it and he used it on EVERYTHING. He had to go out and buy himself one, not to mention a set of new grinding stones and cutting discs that he burnt out on me.. lol..

GREAT TOY!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

has a small lcd that reads out the speed digitally. Is the one you picked up a variable speed, 1 speed or two speed???

Yeah. The digital is very precise for your speed. Great for doing any picky job.. going too fast will melt the cut-off blade on some materials, Start a fire if wood, or melt plastic, and thats only if your going 5krpm faster then you should be. The digital you can control the speed and cutting/sanding/grinding temps much better.

This is a slightly better set then what i got but its the same series dremel tool. this kit also includes the flex shaft which is great cause you can set the speed on the dremel, and then use the flex shaft to have even more precise cutting. GREAT for engraving and pinpoint sanding and touch-ups!
