Big USB Problem

This is really bad...I just got a new computer a few days ago and NOTHING works that is plugged into the USB ports, my joystick, iPod, printers...NOTHING! D:
Sorry I cannot be more specific but thats my problem...any and all help would be very much appreciated
If it was up to me...I'd stab the computer if a knife if it messes up D:<

When you say you got it?, have you looked inside of it, or the box of spare parts with driver disks, originals prefered on tempermental mobo's?

Is the usb onboard? or is it a front side plug?, that might not be cpnnnected?

Troubleshoot I say!

I didn't build it, I got it built by a friend's company and so that is why, it seems that it was Windows so I basically formatted my computer and reinstalled...viola! everything works
