Installed BF2, Installed BF2:SF, Installed 1.22 FULL patch.

When I try to connect to a game I get invalid CD Key.

Have to install as admin, cant play as a power user because of some stupid crap after reading the EA support stuff, they say install as the other user, WELL NO ****, I CANT CUZ IT AINT AN ADMIN!

So right clicking the shortcut and using "Run As Admin" works.

Their support site is NOT organized.

What does that have to do with it?

WHy I did it was becasue of this guy I talked to at school when I was there, he mentioned he did this and changed the name of the admin account, apparently in some cases it can limit what the virus can do or what someone gaining acces to your PC can do. Not sure if its accurate, but it sounded good.

Also a good way to play around with user privilages.

Yeah it's true..for unprotected PCs...and users who aren't careful, it's true.

I already preach to change the password for the Administrator account...a lot of bad stuff is written to assume the average user has left that account with a blank password...so helps itself to installing.

I don't get that option...and I can't get into any SF servers either...it tells me that I need an unmoddified version of BF2 T_T

the choice woudl actually be "Run As..."

save your money it isn't that great cept getting the extra unlocks which you can just get someone to log into your account that has SF play a round and let you log in and boom you have the unlocks.. just wait for the new expansion pack Armor fury to come out and get that it seems to be more of adraw past SF and Euro forces.
1.3 patch is going to screw with stuff also like no more squad hopping and so forth so hell might as well wait till after that patch before playing so you wont miss nothing lol

uninstall everything but don't uninstall your profile!! Then reload BF2 and load SF then patch with 1.22 full and that should fix that problem you have.

---->> Just make sure you don't delete your profile when it pops up asking what to delete cause if you do you will have that annoying guy talking through the whole game each time you do something and you will have to go back and reset all your options

Lol I always have issues getting the damn game to patch.. let alone play.. I'll have to find my discs tonight and start cleaning up house.. How good are some of those unlocks from SF?

Unlocks...eh ..I find myself using stock weapons more.. The AK101 is the chit...and the g36e is a fine weapon. You really gotta find a decent server to get the most outta the game. A single squad can dominate the game if it works well together.

I've been hitting on a server ran by PTX a top clan in Cal and it seems many of the top players in other clans like Ill, HOT, =DS=, FRAG and a few others play there.. its 24/7 Karkand and I tell ya the action is wide open.. these guys don't fool around and they really utilize the Squad action to dominate.

Ok now where are the good BF2 servers?

I love all this childish punishing tk stuff, and even saw an admin that said if anyone punishes him they get banned, then he went and tked a guy in a plane so he'd get it quicker lol

follow me or someone else in |D| to a server in the evenings.. we go to good ones with good competition like the one I already mentioned..

I only play on about 4 or 5 servers consistantly
