If another computer behind the router can receive e-mail...it's most likely a setting on the local PC that connect receive.

I'd start by taking a closer look at your e-mail client settings....
What errors happen?
Can you ping both incoming and outgoing mail servers...and get replies?
Different individual account I'm sure?

is ok now i got it working again. i use shaw as my isp. usually putting 'shawmail' under the pop3 and smtp setting will work, but for some reason after switching to the D-link router it wont' let me receive or send mail. I then tried with my old linksys and it work with just 'shawmail' and now i just have to put 'shawmail.vc.shawcable.net" under the pop3 and smtp setting. Thanks for replying.
