Router problems
I am having problems with my network. I bought a linksys nro-41 router with hopes that my wife and i could play call of duty multiplayer together. The first problem i hade was my comuter kept physical memory dumping. It was a conflict with the nvidia network card. Everytime i plugged in the router BSOD came up. So I added a seperate network card and that took care of it. The other problem is that for some reason we can't both play at the same time. I have 2 Keys so that is not the problem. I have Broadband and both computers download at 3000 kbps and upload at 370 kbps. My computer did download at 5000kbps until i switched to the external card. The upload is the same though. Is this router not capable of runing both computers? Please help.

Both systems can surf at the same time etc, correct? You just can not play the game at the same time? Any error messages? Specific behaviours?

I'll be honest with you...I hate saying it, but that NRO41 router.....it carries the Linksys brand, but it's not really supported by Linksys (you don't see it on their website, it has it's own website, http://www.networkeverywhere.com ) The website looks like the old old Linksys website from years ago.
Linksys made a huge batch of them "whitebox OEM" for someone....it was special production run to make an inexpensive router for some project...I forget what, a bit ISP order to have some customer premise equipment...anyways...they made a bunch of extra ones...and this is how they cleared the extra stock.
So while it carries the Linksys name on it, "Linksys" themselves don't support it..they sort of don't even admit to making it. It's like a bastard child.
If you Google this router...you'll see lots and lots of unhappy people with them.
Anyways...my unfortunate advice....besides seeing if you can get updated firmware on their site, is write this router off...and snag a new one...either a real Linksys, or a DLink or Belkin.
