Help.....PSD, CSS & HTML Dilema

Post by reznog12 »

So here's the deal. I'm trying to edit a couple of web templates with Adobe Photoshop and Image ready. Everything is cool until I save the optimized version so that I can see my page in html. Instead of text separated by a few graphics, I get a page which is made up of only graphics, sliced up in different section. I cannot copy text or do anything! The page becomes a sliced up artwork!

My Questions:

1. How do you use Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady to edit webpages and end up with actual web pages (with text copying capabilities)?

2. How do do you use templates with psd files and CSS script files correctly?

The following page is and example of what I'm talking about:

URL: "http://pcresurrection.bravehost.com/"

I am really lost here. I'm tired of building stiff pages with no life!

Help!

PS and IR are image tools, not webediting tools. You would want adobe golive if I understand what you are trying to do.

PSD is like jpg. It is an object that may be placed in a page via html or CSS.
