NEC DVD burners..

Post by koldchillah »

I just bought the NEC ND-3550A for $37.99 @ newegg.. :thumb:

Anyone ever use NEC drives? I haven't bought a CD or DVD drive for myself in a while.

They're one of the good brands out there, good reader and writer. Although I am bias to BenQ. :thumb:

Mine did too after about 6 months but chiefvalue (newegg) was cool about the warranty, still the fastest reader, scanner, burner I ever had. They're up to 1670 now.

Thanks guys.. :thumb:

One more question: What software does it come bundled with? I can't seem to find any info regarding the bundled apps. I have a retail copy of Nero 6 already, but I was just curious what it comes with.

my first was a NEC-1000A, only wrote at 2.4x.... I passed on the new NEC's, have read about a few problems. Bought a ASUS @newegg, and it is sweet!!

You get nero if you by the retail version.

Squat w/ OEM.
