bout to place my order. Any suggestions.

This maxes out the budget so any alternatives need to be comparable in price.

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice - $201

ASPIRE CONCORD ATX-MR500W ATX12V v2.03 500W Power Supply - $60 + $10 rebate

NEC Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive - $10

I'll recycle my current dvd drive, cdrw drive and hard drive and will likely get the
NEC dvd writer and a raptor drive sometime down the road.
This will all go in a CoolerMaster Centurion 5 case that I already have.

This will be my first build so any buying/setup advice is appreciated.

You got me here again. Something about a motherboard possibly?

I ended up switching out the memory to Gskill and the mo bo to a biostar tforce4 u. I also picked up an external hd to make things easier since I'll be re-using my hard drive.
