my PC in my signature sometimes does that, i don't power down very often, but if i find that problem usually hitting the reset switch and going into the bios seems to help.

my MSI mobo has more know weird issues like that than i can even recall.

like sometimes i have to boot twice to get the v-core voltage i want, i mean i have to boot like normal, then reset and go into bios, make a change, then change it back to what it was before and then all is good.

i am thinking about trying a differnt bios version, but i guess they all have some kinda issue LOL

i can't really offer any advice, just thought i would share my experiances with ya.

Your still using the 6/23 bios izzo?b Or did you update again?

Could also check that the card is screwed in ok and the dvi cable it tightened.

Not a major issue with the monitor, at least not enough for google to find it.

I don't know what it could be, I'd probably guess the cable or the card, but leaning a bit towards the cable.

Could be a bad cap on your vid card not holding charge.

ie. System has been powered down long enough for the cap to lose charge.

You power system up and there's no monitor.

You scratch your head...cuss a little... :irate: (all while cap is getting juice and charging)

You hit reset and viola!!!

Just a thought. Goodluck!
