He's comlaining cause he "only" gets 650KB/s d/l and 120KB/s uploads form his OOL server. He wants to be fast like you Image

haha DAMN U!! I was getting 575-890 hehe from Verizon. And my up was goin at 170.2 k/byte LOL, then went to 128 =(. Don't We all wish we had Doh's 128mbps u/l? hehe

hehe, not evyone can be lucky as I to have a 128 mbps u/l cap....to bad @home is using 127.82 mbps of it at all times Image

jesse, u were not getting 170KB up, we are capped at 128KB or 1mbps

I know he's not getting over 128KB. Jesse still doesn't understand that the 1st couple of seconds of a download, the reading is wrong. If it shows 175KB at the beginning, it doesn't even mean that you ever hit 175KB or over, it just means that it's too early to factor in the rounding of the reading. You are getting at most 128KB from the start.

Anyhow, I use the speedguide tweak, except I changed the rcvwindow to 65535.

"FLASHED" doesn't mean you actually were receiving data at that speed. You were not. The fact that IE or ftp or whatever showed that means SH**!

Lex you said you changed the RcvWindow to 65535
Are u missing a number there cuz after the patch it reads 372300
?

Yes, I am saying I changed it manually in the .inf patch file to 65535.

I don't know why. I just think I have heard more reports that that # works better for more people.

I don't see a speed difference either way.

I tried it, think it was slower then the original so i changed it back

Lex im on OOL also as you know, i changed my rcvwindow to yours and my speed DID increase.
