Post by vvarrior »

Now that i got my system running i tinkered a bit and got it to 2.8ghz want to push it further but what settings would u recommend for my ram?

dfi sli dr
(ocz titanium 2 gigs) i know it's not the best for overclocking but should be able to go pretty far... at 2.8ghz the temps were 26 degrees ram running @ 235mhz... couldn't up the fsb anymore i think i need to still adjust my ram any ideas??

I would change the fsb:ram ratio to bring the ram down closer to 200mhz.

here is a good read on overclocking for you......... http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=888001

here is a good tool for figureing out the memory - cpu ratios, it is called A64 MemFreq, run it to see what your memory will be at any given HTT
