ATI All-in-Wonder X600 Pro PCI-Ex16 owners: bundled software question: wheres the TV?

Post by MadMax350 »

Recently picked up the ATI AIW X600-Pro card for the new PC that I built. It came bundled with a lot of useless software but I can't seem to find the TV Tuner portion of the software. What disc is it on?

The discs that I got with the card:

-Visual Communicator WEB
-Mediator 7
-Pinnacle Studio
-ATI Catalyst

I tried doing the "basic" install of the ATI Catalyst disc and the computer hangs and I have to perform a hard reset. I tried manually installing the media center on this disc and the computer hangs. Does the media center contain the TV tuning software? I can download the new ATI media center software from their website but I have dial-up and don't want to waste the time if that isn't the file I need. All input appreciated.

Multimedia Center has it. Just download the latest version from ATI's website. Don't forget to install the DAO first.

Downloaded the updated files and installed them as you suggested. However, when I go to install the media center, the computer hangs which requires a hard reset. I am sending ATI an email about the issue now as their support site doesn't show my issue.
