Awsome Speed Test Site!!

Post by Aaladar »

I was doing some speedtests today... I found a fast, accurate one. Check it out at http://speedtest.mybc.com/ and tell me what you think.

Starting download test
Http request: http://speedtest.mybc.com/5meg.test
Http connection opened in 0 milliseconds
Test performed in 92743 milliseconds
Total bytes downloaded: 5242880 bytes
Throughput: 0.4312994 Mbps

That's bad for someone who is capped at 2mbps. Stupid cogeco.

Kinda old news http://forums.speedguide.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=009167

The only real way to test your speed is to find a couple of fast sites and do a compare use a program like this..Directly on your machine http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/nsl.htm
Im not saying that the site your testing from is bad but I have yet to see one be right...
Have fun with it..
