My friend is giving me a lift home after because I don't think it is wise to drive after.
Anyone have any experiences with giving blood?

Its a good idea to have a driver if you have never given blood before
The first time I donated blood I had to line my pockets with lead fishing weights to make the 100 pound minimum!!
Most people have no bad after effects, while others feel a bit shaky or woozy.
Better safe than sorry! and...Good for you!!

Sure have. They actually came to my work a few years back. It wasn't that bad. They gave us orange juice and some candy afterwords. Still had to go back to workSubsane wrote:My friend is giving me a lift home after because I don't think it is wise to drive after.

Subsane, you've motivated me. I think I'm going to go give too.
