You might be right but I heard it was a comedy..and my thoughts initially were that how can a comedy be made about an eating disorder...dont need more stigmas about it, when most people dont even understand the disease to begin with.

I might have prejudged the show, I guess it just hits too close to home.

Thanks for your well wishes about my sister...yeah becuase oif the anorexic she now has a tons of medical issues one of them being MS, doctor say becuase of her imablances with not enough nutrients they think is the cause

Granted some of the men I have dated are asshats but hey there seem to be alot of them. I am so glad your all so frickin perfect that you can judge people you dont know. Hell I am glad these women think they are beautiful, I have difficulty with it. But WTF lets make fun of people because of their problems, we know were all perfect. I am starting to wonder what happened to the people I met 2.5 years ago, I know they are not here anymore or they seemed to have lost their souls. Thanks for the fun times and I am glad your all so fricking Exhalted.
my original intention was not to insult obese or fat people...trust me I use to be fat..last december I was weighing 60 more lbs then I am now..and went down 9 inches in the waist. I know exactly what it feels like. I also have a skin condition called vitiligo...and was made fun all my life.

No doubt about it..losing weight was one the hardest things I ever did. It not easy that for sure.

It is the mind, spirit and soul that count in a true relationship.
As always, mean people suck.

bye,
david
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

OMG..this thread turned very wrong.. :( Annalysa please don't leave. The only thing that makes a person truly ugly is a nasty soul, what they look like on the outside makes no difference at all to those that can see and not with just thier eyes.
How you feel about yourself shines through..your true beauty. I never knew what you looked like, and why would that matter I like you. I have always thought of you as a very intelligent and beautiful woman just by the way you interact with us here.

I hope that you do not leave us, I for one value your friendship and would miss you, as would everyone else here who matters. :)

If more members would stand up and speak thier minds here instead of just hiding in the shadows when the creeps are around the mods and owners would have a better idea of what, and who, should and shouldn't be allowed in the forums.

Far too many good members avoid the insulting/ignorant posters instead of denouncing them and helping to rid the forums of them. Those same good members have as late been posting less and less, allowing the 'other' members to post more and more. Losing good members by replacing them with bad ones isn't the way to go.

Personally I think one temp ban is enough, especially since a temp ban comes after quite a few warnings. I won't mention any names, there's no need to. I think collectively we all know who belongs here and who doesn't.

Anna, keep your account open, and be patient. Same goes for anyone else talking of leaving.
Time, and the SG management will fix what's wrong. I have no doubts.

You are a ****in low life Brent. There is a difference posting your opinion about a topic and posting a comment about someone's girl. Obviously, you do not know the difference and you certainly do not give a **** either.

Point is Brent..someone posts a picture of a loved one, and you do not happen to think they are attractive..why say anything at all? Didn't your Momma ever tell you.."If you can't say something nice..then shut up!"

I do not lie in my comments of others..when I say someone is beautiful I MEAN it, otherwise I do not say anything at all. For instance..when DLL posted a picture of his new bride, when I said she was beautiful I truly meant it..she is a very gorgeous woman, if I did not think so I would not have mentioned it and just congratulated them.

Hurting someone's feelings is very pre-school, when someone posts a picture they do not come right out and ask what we think of thier looks..so why offer it unless it is something nice and would make the poster happy. When I post pictures of my family I do not really care to know if you think they are attractive or not..they are to me.

Heavy women/men cant be beautiful becasue of how they mistreat their body adn show a lack of respect towards themselves.

we read post #2 YoS. You don't have to repeat yourself.

Not all heavy people have a lack of respect for themselves. Not all heavy people are heavy because of that.

so what about if girls smoke? what about if they do drugs or just never excersize and eat crap but stay thin?

IF even you believed your reasoning you wouldnt like anyone that did ANYTHING bad to their own bodies..

I think this reasoning is total BS except if its comming from someone whose totally all about health and working out and everything. but from normal people its basically saying "i dont like fat people" and this is my excuse.
