Allergy season and tooth aches....

Post by nepenthe »

Inflamed and infected sinus can cause pain in maxilliary teeth. Keep this in mind before you have that late August root canal.

your dental moment....
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

In the past three weeks, I have diagnosed no less than twelve sinus maladies that mimicked pulpitis. All have disappeared within one to three days after non-dental treatment.

Mind you, I have also ameliorated true dental pain in that time frame as well. I just want to give a heads up to any sinus pain sufferers.

Its warming to see a medical practitioner practicing some truth rather than the oft "let's do the root canal anyway" for the BMW payment. David, those folks w/ allergies surely will now return for that full cleaning and whitening procedure.

btw, my Jewish wife runs the finances for a company that buys & manages dental practices. They retain the docs who only wish to do technical, most are poor administrators anyway. Unwarranted treatments are a no-no that reflect in lowered income eventually as the client base reduces.

David,

Every so often, my teeth get extremely sensitive. It gets so bad, if I switch from hot to cold, I will be jumping around the room until it wears off. Then out of nowhere it just goes away and will not return form many months. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Interesting! Thanks for the tip. My teeth are always more sensitive when fighting an allergy attack, and or sinuses. I just never put the two together. :p
