Wow, it keeps crashing/going black/showing polygons and it says it supports my vido card (GF 6800)

You know, i wonder when that doom movie is coming out....omfg i just dl'ed the trailer it doesn't follow the story line AT ALL leave it to hollywood to **** up a good game franchise

when they showed at at comic con or somthing like the the crowd went crazy after the showing they loved it. IMHO it looks good. and if they did follow the game I dont think it would be rather good, ONE MAIN PERSON? I mean come on.

if it was the same everyone would know what happens.

What about alien ...most of it was just one main person...

I thought she was alone for most of the GOOD parts of the first one....isn't that what made the movie kinda creepy? its been forever since i saw that one. I liked the Aliens better.

I think if done properly a solo movie could be VERY nerve racking....

Anyway back to FEAR. Just finished the demo and all i can say is WOW, that game is going to make it so i never play doom again. Ghosts freak me out to begin with but when you are actually "seeing" them .... YIPES!

SCARY STUFF!

You turn to do down the stairs and she is standing there!

Then you get to the bottom and look up and nothing...turn around and BAM!!

This game has some creapy scenes already. I had almost forgotten about the girl when that happened and it shocked the heck outta me. Got into the action and forgot about the ghost....

I remember at the very beginning whe something walked/scuttled across the floor and I didn't know what it was and then I replayed it and it was the girl.. then you can see her on the T.V. in the room in the picture I posted above.

Fun game for sure

Do you know if it will be a series of missions(like Rainbow 6) or one big mission (like doom) ? It was kind of annyoing when the hallway went into slowmo and it took forever to get out

, but other than that the scary parts were good and the action wasnt too bad either.

With the Girl and the story i would think its a doom stly walkthrew. Doubt it will be broken up like R6. All i know is i waited forever for doom to come out. First farcry made it not so WOW factor, now this game is gonna kill it with gameplay....then again HL2 thrashed it in everyway imaginable...

Woulda figured that doom woulda had longer lasting appeal...guess it was to hyped...
