Im hoping to get at least 5 cooler but should get way more. I have 4 case fans already and I'm making a side vent to draw new air directly to the new heatsink fan similar to this https://www.speedguide.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=178302 but my filter will have a much much lower profile.zooner wrote:that's a whole lotta money.
how much more do you expect over the standard HSF? Perhaps you'd be better off to simply add more fans to your case and keep the retail HSF?

Apparently the fan clips on pretty easy.

Today I installed this
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php? ... %20Cooling
And this

and this

Haven't pushed it very hard yet. Tried pushing the dynamic overclock in bios (msi neo-2 865PE mobo) and using the core center utility but...meh.... still got to fiddle around a bit. Looking forward to overclocking my 9800pro though. The arctic cooling vga silencer seems to work nicely.

I like that TT heatsink..pretty lookin..but what difference in heat would it give over the stock heatsink and fan I got with my AMD 64 FX55 I wonder??
Also I've looked but I can't find any AS cooler with that rear exhaust ability made for the Nvidia cards say like the BFG 6800GT I hate having it push the air back into the case..I pretty much had to adjust two fans air flow speeds to push and pull that hot air from the dual cards to the front of the case exhaust fan.
Also mounted duct to the back of the case and piping in AC air from my central air duct from the house to help keep the cards and everything cool while I game
I'm just trying to prepare for winter cause I don't run the ac just heat so I'm going to have to figure out a way to push cold air into the case some how perhaps running a pipe to the outside air heh
