Best Cable Modem?

Post by phallical »

I am finally convinced it is my 3Com Tailfin Modem 3CR29220 which is causing my dropped connections.
I am here to get opinions from forum members on the best modem to buy.
I am running a broadband connection with Insight Cable in Indianapolis Area.
Thanks...phal

Here ya go man. These modems are good. Always call your cable company though and get a list of approved modems. Most will work but there are a few that have issues.

Most cable companies work good with Motorola... I suggest the SB5120

Look on ebay for it you will find it real cheap.

Ever since I've used Motorola cable modems, I've had ZERO problems relating to cable modems. Currently have an SB4200.

The Motorola modems seem pretty solid, also SA Webstar.
