I'm going to connect this http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=0-N82E16833129217 802.11 B USB Adaptor to my Belkin 802.11 B router. Is the main disadvantage of a USB card the range? Will I be getting the whole 11Mbps the devices purport? I'm not to concerned about the speed of the network I just want to be able to share my 1.5 Mbps DSL connection.
Thanks

That USB dongle is only 1.1 but it should work fine. Nice price point. I have a couple of USB 1.1 adaptors with the long cables (Linksys) and see no reason to upgrade. You will notice they don't perform as well as wired connections on speed tests -- but that's about the only place you'll notice.
