I would like to talk to my dad thru our network. I heard of a lan chat program or something were you can send message thru like aim. Could someone recommend me a good lan chat program and tell me how to configure it. I've had problems in the past and I have no clue on how to set it up...

Winpopup you already have it if you are running windows (C:\Windows\Winpopup.exe). It must be running on both computers then it works like AIM.
