Something isnt right

Ok something very strange has happened to my desktop. My avg antivirus detected HLInstaller1.exe So I deleted it. Now for some reason my desktop looks like this?? link to picture of desktop since it is a very large image--> http://www.ravenprom.org/kull/desktop.jpg

Well the problem is cured. And no it wasnt right the taskbar is usually at the bottom of the desktop window.
