Cable Connection fluxuating/unsteady
Ok I have comcast internet and currently am getting a connection of 4000 kbs per second, but it drops by the hundreds and just moves up and down continually I wanted to know if there is any simple solution to the problem, comcast seems to think that as long as i have internet access that speed isn't their problem I run on Linksys BEFSR11 model router and a Best data CMX110 cable modem, my semi computer savy father says that the modem and the router is fine and doesn't think that the problem will ever get better.... unfortunatly this affects my gaming severly as it fluxuates so much that I can't hold a steady connection to xbox live or even my Starcraft games If anyone has any experience with this kind of problem or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!!!!
