Morning!
A great number of banks issue a combo debit/credit card. Did you actually check with your home bank and see if they offer that service? Those type cards can be used in either fashion...you just need to specify which you wish to use at your time of purchase. Debit of course, being withdrawn from your checking account immediately...and credit as you would use any credit card...but the issuing bank has to verify both services valid to begin the process. Good luck!

My assumption is that he is looking to start/build his credit. I would start with a revolving credit card. Mervyns, Kohls, Target. This is the best way to start if thats what your looking for. Good luck..

I agree 100%. It takes years to build good credit. You can screww it up in 1 month.lefty04530 wrote:Besides the above suggestions, a personal loan is a great way to start up a good credit rating. A small $500 dollar loan is easy to pay off and will build your credit up. I cant stress the importance of good credit, and the importance of maintaining it. Good luck![]()
