i started to uninstall the video drivers. but i had clicked on the software uninstall doh! well any ways i got it installed and now it seems like i dont have the performance i used to have and i feel like it laggs more aswell,

i have gotten a couple blue screens and then shut offs, their were no text on the screen just blue then the box shut off....

any one have an idea what is causing this ?

im just confussed and i dont wanna formate and re-install every thing . the copy of windows i have is about 4 years old and hasn't died on my yet even through complete system changes....

Wha?

You're on a 4-year-old Windows install even though you've changed a bunch of the components?

Baaaaaaaaaaad idea, man.

Download all the latest drivers for your hardware and burn to a CD, backup all critical data, reformat and reinstall drivers like so:

- Chipset drivers
- DirectX 9.0c
- Video card drivers
- Rest of drivers

Since you have an nForce chipset, let me revamp the order of install right after a fresh Windows install:

- DirectX 9.0c
- Chipset drivers
- Video card drivers
- Rest of other drivers
