What a day

Post by Humboldt »

Got to work yesterday and was informed that I'd been promoted to floor manager of our store.

About an hour later got a call from my realtor. I got the house I bid on last week

Add sleep deprivation strong enough to be seeing shadow critters everywhere and it made for an interesting day.

Thanks guys. The promotion thing has me a bit apprehensive. It means a *bit* more money but a lot more responsibility, of course.

Now, instead of the managers getting mad at everyone they can come straight to me :D

Telling other employees what to do is going to be weird but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. If only I could find my whip...must've left it at Ken's again.

Borrow my whip, had it impregnated with anti-bacterial emulsions. That way when ya whip em to the bleeding point, the infections do not keep them from continuing work.

Great news on the job and even better news on the house/land.
