Gaming headphones ?

Post by westy »

Can anyone recommend a good pair of headphones for gaming ? I have a great 4.1 set of Klipsch's, but they really raise hell with the 2 year old daughter sleeping. Right now I'm using a $ 20 pair from Radio Shack and they suck big time.

I'd appreciate and thoughts on the best bang for my buck !

Thanks !

I use Sony MDR V700's. Good for music as well, no mic tho. Isolate yer ears from surrounding interference. 'Bout 100 bucks online, 150 @ Best Buy or CC.

YEha I still have a good portion of mine all bundled up or it would be TOO much cable dangling everywhere and my chari would run over it ... lol

Ive had plantonics, koss, and the cheap radioshack versions. Nothing has compared to these. I can hear everything in a game. Even the slightest footsteps in BF-V.

Good timing on this thread topic, as I'm about to pick up some, so I can use TeamSpeak a bit more often. Currently a bit intrusive to the household right now with my 4.1 system and a mike.

Looks like the Plantronics are about 25 - 30 bucks and the Sennheisers about 60- 70 bucks.

I bought a pair of the Plantronics Audio 90's from Amazon.com for $ 25.00 with shipping. (I hadn't seen the post of the Sennheisers yet).

They should be in by Friday or Monday and I'll let you know how I like them.

Thanks everyone !
