yes, it is true that the mountain about to cum. however, i do not believe it will be in our lifetime. the mountain has been burping and farting to be sure. but it could just be a case of indigestion.
The jet propulsion lab is thinking of encompassing the mountain in a giant Rubber. The spew will then be caught before it can fertilize the surrounding valley.

my favorite part: "Although some areas around the mountain have been closed to climbers and hikers this week, the visitor center just five miles away remains open."
LMAO, you couldn't drag my cold dead body within 50 miles of that visitor center.

Subsequent to the eruption there are now reports of harmonic tremors, usually associated with magma movement.
I liked the volcanologist on Fox:
"If the 1980 eruption was an elephant, this is a chihuahua".

By DAVID AMMONS, Associated Press Writer
MOUNT ST. HELENS, Wash. - Mount St. Helens, the volcano that blew its top with cataclysmic force in 1980, erupted for the first time in 18 years Friday, belching a huge column of white steam and ash after days of rumblings.
