What is an......

What is an attention wh0re?

Someone who thrives on attention and will go to great lengths to get that attention. Attention wh0res will typically start threads where they try to be subtle about their need for attention, but everyone sees through the facade pretty quickly and calls the poster on his or her attention whoring.

Examples of attention whoring include posting personal pictures at every available opportunity (with or without saying "OH MY GOD I'M SO UGLY RIGHT GUYS?" or "HEY LADIES/GENTLEMEN I SURE AM HOT HUH?"), starting a thread about how much sex you're getting so that everyone will know you're getting laid a lot, mentioning your gender when nobody's asked for it and it doesn't even matter, or mentioning in every other post that you enjoy sex and/or masturbation very frequently, even when the thread has absolutely nothing do with sex and/or masturbation.

Attention whoring is very much frowned upon on forums, and anyone who does it will quickly find themselves laughed at on a very frequent basis. They also frequently can't help stirring up drama - generally in the form of distributing nude pictures.

Does anyone you know fit this discription?

I was just checking.

My apologies......I'll only show my backside from now on..

by the way...pics of the cast?
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Does it matter?

I don't think so. I just saw an interesting coincidence.

It's not directed to anyone in particular, unless you are the person I am thinking of.

Not you mccoffee :D
